MIRI: Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS) in collaboration with MYY Living Arts will be organising a third series of Culinary Demo & Dialogue: Kelupis with Chicken Curry on 18th June 2022, at WAT Academy Sarawak.

This workshop will teach participants how to prepare traditional Sarawakian dishes. The project’s goal is to encourage dialogue, discovery, mastery, and innovation in Sarawakian cuisine.

Madam Rebekah from WAT Academy Sarawak will curate and lead the event, and she will guide and engage in conversation with the participants throughout the workshop. Ten sets of fresh ingredients will be given to the first ten registered participants. They will observe the trainer and preparing the dish step by step. This event will be live streamed on the WAT Academy Sarawak’s Facebook page. The session is completely free and open to all Miri residents aged 16 and up. Culinary Demo & Dialogue 3 was supposed to take place on 11th June 2022, but due to a water outage in Miri, it was moved to June 18th, 2022.
